Good 'til the Last Drop

Caffeine Convoy started out as a place to write down my feelings about issues that I felt were important in my life.  What a great release and the therapy that came with writing down my true feelings under a 'caffeinated' name insured me the freedom of expressing myself without reaching for my towel to cover up my nakedness.  Writing, no matter what my grammar looks like, has been a way to soothe my inner frustrations with the world, politics, people, the neighbor's barking dog... they all seem to disappear after writing it down.

Being a blogger newbie, I had no idea that there was another universe at the tip of my fingers.  The BlogSphere is alive with thoughts and ideas as fresh smelling as the linens coming in from the clothesline.  There are so many other blogs to read and comments to leave hoping to make a new friend that will come for a visit, the BlogSphere is rarely a dull moment, unless you post infrequently.

The idea of having others write with me started off with an excitement that this blog will always be vocal, even when I take a moment of silence.  The dialogue was in a state of frenzy the first few weeks.  The posts were coming in quicker than they were read, and being a new blog, you hoped for the world to read before the posts went deeper into the archives.  Ahhh, but no worries, the fading excitement of a new adventure was now a chore to most and posts slowly made there way to the 'publish post' button.

The community of caffeinated women, have slowly become a single cup of coffee. But that's okay, as long as the coffee is strong!  So I guess this blog is exactly what it was meant to be, a place for my thoughts without a towel.

Time for a cup of something strong...

  2. so you're going it alone? You might find it a better way to blog actually. To be in total control of the subjects and not worry that someone will post right after you wrote a really awesome piece but your friend took your thunder....

I had a co author last year for a few months but I didn't care for it because it didn't feel like MY BLOG anymore. He is a great guy and a good buddy so he forgave me after some crying and begging from moi! LOL He comes by and comments as complaint department manager.

Anyway... get to work Expresso, I'll be by again soon!
I took an ambien and am fading fast, goonight
